You have found many great articles. The one that caught my eye is the about child abuse and neglect. Professionals that work with children should stay current on the policies and procedures pertaining to child abuse and neglect. It also important to know them for the state you live in.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you. When I was a Preschool teacher we had a little girl that want potty trained, threw temper tantrums when we changed her and complained of her privates hurting. I know we reported it but I do not know what became of it. Im pretty sure the family moved.
ReplyDeleteGood display of resources! I am very interested in the article on "Still Unacceptable Practices On Kindergarten Entry and Placement." This seem to provide a good insight as a similar article I reviewed on how children have varied periods in their lives they are reading for schooling. I was very interested in my article and the ease of finding supporting documentation is wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe amount of resources available via internet is amazing. It might not always be valid but the information is useful and meaningful. You can pretty much find the answer to anything on the web.
